April 24, 2019

The Town is closing a portion of the sidewalk on the east side of Reynolds Street between MacDonald Road and Lawson Street for two days starting on April 29 to install the water service for the new Southeast Community Centre. Signs will be in place to identify the sidewalk closure. Area residents are asked to detour via Lawson and Trafalgar to walk between Reynolds and MacDonald.

During the sidewalk closure, Oakville Transit’s School Special Route 83 Blakelock East bus service will bypass stop #2308, the former Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital stop, and will drop students off at the Wallace Park or Spruce Street stops.

Water system installation work will take place during the day between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. with minimal noise. The Town hopes for our patience during this time and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
