The playground on the Brantwood School property is very well used by residents from all around our area.
The Town plan remains a combination of development, preserving the façade of the existing building, and a small park (relocated to a corner of the lot). There is no intention to reserve the entire Brantwood land for a park. The majority of the land will be allocated to residential development.
The Town has proposed Official Plan and Zoning By-Law Amendments. TCRA is requesting decisions are postponed pending further investigation into alternative approaches.
We communicate, support and advocate on behalf of neighbourhood residents with the aim of maintaining and improving the special character of our community.
