The playground on the Brantwood School property is very well used by residents from all around our area. Parents go there preferentially (compared to Wallace Park) because it is fenced and tailored to little children. Asked about current plans, Councillor Gittings confirmed that the plan remains a combination of development, preserving the façade of the existing building, and a small park (relocated to a corner of the lot). There is no intention to reserve the entire Brantwood land for a park. The majority of the land will be allocated to residential development.
The Town has put the project out to tender on Biddingo.
We communicate, support and advocate on behalf of neighbourhood residents with the aim of maintaining and improving the special character of our community.
